Data Deletion Requests

For the Scholar app by Mark Logic Development

If you have an account on the Scholar school management platform (web or the Scholar mobile app) and want your data deleted, follow the steps below.

How to request deletion

1. Email mark@mark-dev.com from the email address linked to your Scholar account, with the subject "Data deletion request", naming your school; or
2. Ask your school's administration to submit the request on your behalf — the school controls its student records.

Requests are confirmed and processed within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials;
• Your contact details (name, email, phone number, address);
• Messages you sent within the app.

What may be kept

Official school records (enrollment, attendance, grades, and fee/payment history) belong to the school and may be retained by the school where required for its educational and accounting obligations, or where retention is required by law. Backup copies are purged on the normal backup rotation schedule.
